Someone with an ounce of Technical Knowledge.....Please tell me what this unit is (Circled)?

It has a V-Pulley (Not a toothed belt), on the in board side ?

    Thanks,

    Seb

OK - I'm having real trouble posting the picture of the engine ? But as you stand at the rear of the car looking into the Engine bay, the unit is in the Top right hand corner of the engine bay, to the right of the dipstick !

    Thanks again.....?

There's only 3 things in there (stock) that take a Vbelt -- AC compressor mounted high, on the passenger side, on the forward bank of the motor), the water pump (mounted on the passenger side of the motor about dead center) and alternator mounted low on the passenger side on the forward bank. That's about it (plus idlers/tensioners).

It sounds like you're describing the AC compressor.
