    This thread is very inspiring!
I am starting my search for wheels and suspension that will give my little '80 308 a more updated look.

After seeing Paul Sloan's and Don's car, I had to put 360s on the car. Here is a shot with stock 7.5 rims & 225/40 ft, rears narrowed to 8.75, (Weldcraft) & 255/35 rear Goodyear F-1s.

The brakes are another story: F-50 fronts (14 inch) and 360 challenge rears (13 inch) with 360 parking brake. Lots of help from Martin at Girodisc, great outfit.

The 20 mm spacers needed to run 360 wheels on the 308 fit well but are a bit fiddly trying to line up the hub bolt holes with the holes in the spacers and hanging the wheel on, so i had a pocket machined in two of the spacers holes to accept a metric socket head screw and washer in place of the two pointed bolts that secure the disc to the hub.

The first shot is of the spacer placed on the stock disc and the second shot is of the spacer with pocketed bolts.

This makes the spacers effectively part of the hub and really eases wheel and tire installartion.
