328's ONLY!!! 328 REGISTER UPDATE - 12/03

Does anyone know if Rick is still active on these boards? Small world - he's my neighbor (actually lives around the corner, same development). He used to drive his 328, don't see it out much anymore...

Is this a late 88 Car?

 

It is February 88 production. The model year change to 89 took place in Sept so I would consider it an early 88. It still has the early wheels etc which is usually what defines an early car.

I was waiting for someone to ask this. The short answer is - easier said than done. He's not around that much (he's a pilot amongst other things he does), and I only know him casually. I don't feel comfortable to ring his doorbell, which is why I posted here.

That car was built in November 88. By US standards that would make it an 89 but in Europe different countries had different methods of determining model year.

It's my understanding that the 328 registry stopped being updated quite a while ago. I think this has been posted before, but people still occasionally add their cars to the list although nothing is happening with it.

I don't think there is a registry for you to view. It seems the registry stopped a long time ago, but people keep pulling up this thread and adding their cars to it.
