The front seats have no seat foil or metal trim on the front bottoms, and there are no map pockets in the seat backs.

    Another Resale Red 330 2+2.

I never liked the longer front-engined cars in red, but this one looks pretty damn nice. Black interior would've been my personal preference, though...

Looks like a nice, honest car, but $129K???

Update: Just saw the burgandy/black 330 on Sheehan's site for $79K - much better color combo for a 330 IMO, great condition, trustworthy seller - amazed it hasn't sold. Compared to this car, the Sheehan car is a steal! (but that's relative, because no one's going to buy the Ebay car for $129).

By the way, 7815 would have been made in mid to late '65 and has the 4 mount motor!

And Microtechnica window switches :D (my personal hobby it to figure out which cars used these switches).

Yes. It is actually a '65. 7815 was one of my cars for several years. I sold it a few years back. 2004, I think. When it left here, it still had the original black interior. The leather had a patina. But no tears, etc. The new interior looks nice and fresh. But I prefer the original :) Also, it seems the car has been stripped of allot of its extra goodies. It left here with books & tools, 2 sets of wheels ( campos and borrani ), 2 sets of spinners ( straight and angled ), etc. You can see the old notes page here http://www.streambean.com/330details. Too bad... I spent allot of time collecting all of that stuff. Allot of the "to do" stuff was done before the car left here.

It was a good solid car. I always considered it a driver. But, it did show well. I don't know what's happened to it the last few years, though...

    Mike,

Thanks for posting the info from when you owned it. It looks like they think the various bits are worth more seperately. Also, that new leather doesn't look right, both the leather itself and the cut - eg. where's the rear ash tray?

Oh well, another nice original car screwed up (unless they used some Tom S. seats as cores and kept the originals - but I doubt it)

    Regards,

    Art S.
