Sorry for the previous post, I pressed enter too quickly. Has anyone seen this car in person, have any thoughts on it. I have seen interior shots and it looks as it could use a redo. More importantly does anyone know of anything regarding mechanicals of this car? Any help would be much appreciated. Any one in Palo Alto area that can be recommended to perform a PPI? Much thanks,
Remember, you are buying a engine, transmission and rear end, the body and interior are nearly free. Michael Bayer 330GT #9727 365GTC/4 #14947
Ask about the PPI on Tom Yang's board -- lots of Vintage owners in CA there. http://www.tomyang.net/cars/ferrari.html
There's probably someone close to Palo Alto capable of doing a PPI, but I am not familiar with them. The two top notch vintage Ferrari mechanics that I am familiar with are further up the peninsula: Johannes Huwyler Dino Motors San Mateo, CA (650) 571-0406 Dayal Dindral Prancing Horse of California Burlingame, CA (650) 558-8585 -steve
I also recommend Johannes Huwyler. He did my PPI, rebuilt brakes, installed new exhaust system, also lots of smaller repairs, and basically got my car back on the road and shipped it out to Dallas. Knows his business and a very nice guy to work with.
