    What is this 330 GTC center console small access door intended for? Is the door made of galvanized steel like the rest of the console? I'm missing it and may need to fabricate one.

    I see some restored cars with chrome fasteners presumably to keep this door in place, but my console doesn't have any holes in that location. Thanks in advance.

    Access to the shifter housing for maintenance without having to remove the entire console.
