I have added a short film to thiis page https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/330-gtc.html If you have any thjoughts about thiis page please let me know, or any alternative tyre fitment, pictures and data on tyre pressures would be great
Michelin XWX 205 x VR14 also fit 330 GTS, 365 GTC, 365 GTS, 275 GTS, 275 GTB and 275 GTB/4 but not long nose 275 GTB/C and the Speciale 275 GTB Comp cars which are 15 inch.
Is the 275 GTB/C the Nart conversion. We also find that because a full profile 205VR14 tyre has not always been that easy to find some of the non competition cars also fit 15" wheels.
No, a 275 GTB/C is not a NART conversion. It's a factory built (12 made) competition car with many differences to a road going 275 GTB long nose, even though they may look similar. I've seen a few road 275 GTBs used on the track that have 15" wheels but they are not correct. Also seen the short nose Clienti Competizione cars (10 made) with 15" wheels but again not correct. Seth, the former owner of the ex Pirelli prototype 365 GTC, which has 15" wheels as originally supplied, noted that the wheels/tyres foul the wheel wells. FYI genuine 275 GTB/4 NART Spyders (10 made) have 14" wheels.
Among other minor mods, NART/Chinetti did modify a road going Alloy 275 GTB/4 #10311 for racing with 15" Borranis. Pic from Talacrest's web site. Image Unavailable, Please Login
