    Anybody who thinks they have original;

    What type of screws do you have holding the black trim along the bottom of your rocker panels? Flathead, oval head...and are they sheet metal screws or do they have nuts on the back.

    Seems like a dumb little detail but I have round head sheet metal screws on mine and they don't look original. I've seen philips flat head screws on another car.

    Sorry, I don't understand why my photo inserts upside down no matter what I try.

    Thanks very much.

    My 11157 car has phillips flat head screws with a nut. This car has never been restored and probably never hit, but since I'm the 6th owner who can say for sure if the screws are original?

    Thanks for the information Jumprun, I think I'll change mine to that setup. I did see another car like that.

    Definitely flat phillips with a nut on the back.

    I couldn't grab a great pic of the nut on the back, but it's there.

    Hope this helps.

    I'm looking for those rocker trim pieces. Anyone making them?
