    Hi Vince,

    Finally get the heads off?

Have you tried TRutlands? They might have ALL the parts you need. Also Partsource and Lyle Tanner. Fred Petroske at Mostly British has at least one 330 2+2 that he is parting out. He might part with the rocker and sump tube that you need. I got a complete set of absolutely beautiful custom pistons from JE plus wrist pins, rings and circlips for under $2100 and quickly. I saw a set of NOS Borgos for $3600, and the JEs were probably better quality. I replaced my OEM valves with one-piece Manley stainless valves. The Manleys had 5/16 stems and I had the valve guides lined with copper liners that will be better with unleaded gas. I assume the rod got the two cylinder liners. That might be a tough one. With all the custom parts available, though, surely, someone could make a liner for the 330. I had my carbs rebuilt by Pierce Manifold at no small cost, but they will also sell you just the rebuild kit.

Been self maintaining my '75 208 for 3 years now.

Have used a variety of parts suppliers but have made Maclom (Ferrari_UK_Tech) my preferred supplier.

I know the some of the best UK specialists also use him for parts as you know you are getting the expertise to supply the right part for your car. And the prices are generally OK. You can get some fiat bits cheaper, but the Ferrari only bits are v well priced.

If you can't find oversized pistons for a price that can be tolerated, try
    www.venolia.com
I paid $650 for 13 oversized forged and beautifully machined pistons for a 365 GT 2+2 about 10 years ago. For $50 each, I decided that I'd buy an extra in case I dropped one (You get to specify the actual piston diameter to fit your bore). No problems since installation and they were really beautifully made. I just checked their web site and found they still make them, including 330 V12 pistons, although I do not know their current price.
    Good luck with everything.

We'll I'm going with Carrillo's. A friend got me 12 for $2,310. I figured by the time I bought cores, and had them remachined, and......I'd be money ahead. I found an oil sump tube off of a 250, that upon inspection (without the thrashed one present) looks the same; we'll see. JE's will be the pistons once we..........get the two frozen/hammeded in place liners out. They will need to be bored out on a mill that can comprehend the 60 degree angle. More to follow when I know more. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would have the liners bored in the block with a torque plate installed. They do distort under load.

    Hi
Had an engine rebuilt on a 330 GTC that I used to own. The rebuild was incredible in how they worked at it and eventually the cost factor. I am listing a site you can go to to view some of the pictures during the rebuild. Enjoy
