330 propshaft S1 vs S2?

Hello,
I need a prop shaft for my "Interim" series 330 GT 2+2, 4 headlight with hung pedals and a 5 speed box. The parts look identical in the parts catalogues, however, the long shaft has a different part number in the S1 and S2 catalogues.

Series 1: Item 1 = part # 972 vs Series 2: Item 20 = part # 560217

Does anyone know if they are the same length? How are they different, if at all?

I have been offered a prop shaft with part # 560147.

Can anyone tell me if either # 972 or # 560147 will work in my car?
