Is the top picture black or blue leather? IMO the carpets are too dark. Looks like a bottomless pit in pictures although obviously not “in life.”
Thanks Ted that’s what I’ve decided to do…..my center console is black so it will break it up a bit for me.
To me, it seems like the only color that would work is a brown (or "Cinnamon" from the color chart) for the carpets. That offers some contrast to the beige, while still looking good with the green exterior. My metallic blue 911 has light-ish blue carpet (along the lines of "medium blue" in the color chart) against a beige interior and I love that combination. The problem is, I don't think the light blue would go with the green exterior. Brown/tobacco/darker beige seems to be the only color that goes with both the green exterior and fits with the beige interior.
During the 328 period some ordered a brown carpet with the beige interior and I thought they went together very well. It was darker than that cinnamon.
With contrasts, I feel like it's a fine line between an "intentional contrast" look and "unintentionally mismatched" look (e.g. looking like the intent was to match, but the colors were off). Of those four carpet choices, I definitely prefer the "tobacco" color in the bottom right. I feel like the others are too similar in color tone to the seats and could come off as unintentionally mismatched colors. I think that "tobacco" color is probably a better choice than darker brown (which might be too much contrast), but hopefully somebody can Photoshop that color into one of your photos to give you an idea what it would look like. A photoshopped pic would help immensely to determine which is best. Regarding the mats themselves, I feel the tobacco front mats would look better with the black rubber heel pads (adding more contrast) instead of a solid tobacco mat with no heal pad (or same color heal pad). That contrasting heal pad look is seen in @columbo2cam's pic, cut & pasted below from post #31).

Something to note about the tuck-n-roll treatment of Ferrari seats of this era, if you are reupholstering... upholsterers tend to incorporate a thin foam backing here while originally there was no foam. The foam backing gives the seats a nicely finished look, but at the same time it adds a certain "plumpness". john

Probably late to the discussion, but I have "Parliament Green" carpets in my DB9. The seats and door panels are "Sandstorm", which are essentially beige. Dash is Parliament Green over Sandstorm. Wood trim is bamboo. It's a good look...and the carpet wears at least as well as black. Could work well with your Verde exterior color...
... and depending on the density of the foam they "incorporate", it can noticeably change the feel of the seat(s) when one sits in it/them. Happens all the time with all kinds of vintage cars, not just Ferraris and very common when modern, rubber-like thin "leathers" are used.
