who was it made by? Because you can get a basic HW 1:18 for like 20 bucks off ebay, but the quality isn't the greatest.

Must be the 1:18 Elite in the new Speed Gear catalog. IDCOW has a 1993 1:18 but it's out of stock - $34.99.

The new one I saw earlier is a special 60th anniversary issue in a special red color. I've seen a good photo of it on a site where I frequently purchase my 1:43 models and it's got a neat base - looks like the baton, 60th anniversary logo with F 333 SP. Nice - due out in 2007 - 49.99 GBP.

If you want to spend some money on a really special one, Scale18.com has one left of a nice Miniminiera 333 SP.

    Sindo did you contact E.W.A.?

IIRC that's Eric Waiter & Associates, I did a lot of business with them, when building my collection.....they used to mail out a HUGE catalog before going web based......

These guys are great. I do a lot of business with them and I have always been very satisfied. Great service and selection. Also they have great prices too. Replicarz are really good too but EWA have better prices most of the time.

I sold both my 333 SP on UK ebay last year.

The team GIESSE one went for £50 ($100)
The race dirty MOMO one for £25 ($50)

The quality of these HotWheels models wasnt the greatest

Mattel is to release a 333sp ELITE in Olive Garden livery which should be great. They are just so damn slow though.

I got the 333sp Olive Garden that won Daytona in a 1:43 from Redline - absolutely beautiful model - far superior to Mattel. I got Allan to sign it for me. Bob, you might think about that one.
