Image Unavailable, Please Login In the last Zoute sale, Bonhams gave these results for 0122A. Does anybody have a picture and a proof the car was 1st overal in the 1957 Tour de Belgique ? I thought there were several class winners in this race and no overall winner. Also ZERO pic of 0122A at this important event ! Many thanks in advance !
0140 A, sold to Gil Nickel (Far Niente Winery in Oakville/Napa) in August 1980, who had it repainted yellow by Steve Griswold in Berkeley, and kept it until his passing 30 October 2003, aged 64. Son Jeremy Nickel then took it over and it was sold at Gooding's auction in Pebble Beach 14 August 2010 for US$ 2'530'000 to Houston, TX. It was re-sold July 2011 and then repainted red. As nobody seems to have a single picture of a report of 0122A at the 1957 Tour de Belgique, let's say it's a total fantasy...
I never find any photo of 0122A at Tour de Belgique, was the car really entered in this event? I doubt it.
