    The 1-4 check engine light comes on durring hard acceleration. The car tuns fine without problems.

    Only on hard acceleration? EVERY time?? :eek::eek:

    My car exhibited similar behavior and it turned out to be the cam phase sensor. The plastic on the plug was cracked / loose and I think the sudden change in momentum was causing it to be a bit loose.

    I agree with pull the codes, though. Just chiming in to suggest that it might be a simple fix.

    Yes only under hard acceleration. So then I lift.

    The cam phase sensor is on the rear face of the right cylinder head.
