    I need a 348/355/456 abs actuator. Its the piece that screws into the back of the pump. Has a 5 pin connector on it. Its greenish in color. Need it shipped to 95610. Thank you very much.

    Yes it is. As you can see my electrical plug on it broke off. I am lookinf at buying just the actuator not then entire aseembly though.

    I doubt this is a Ferrari-specific part. Do you still have the item that broke off? Are there any markings/numbers/etc. on it that may give away the original manufacturer part #? Many Ferrari parts also carry the designation of the original manufacturer's (i.e. Bosch,. Beru, etc.) part number.

    Likewise, it may be worth looking into replacing the entire pumpkin assembly if you are able to identify/cross-reference the OEM manufacturer. It probably is a Bosch unit that can be had at a fraction of the Ferrari-branded assembly.

    If no joy, then it looks like you can buy a new ABS actuator on eBay at a fairly reasonable price.

    Ferrari does NOT sell this separate. I did find one on ebaymotors but I figured I could help out a ferrarichat member. I'll see if I can cross reference it to a different vehicle. I'll keep your offer in mind. The one on ebay is 300 USD. I'll check with ferrparts next week too.

    wow thank you so much for giving me the idea to cross reference this to other vehicles. a quick "94 abs" search on ebaymotors came up with a 90-94 jaguar abs unit that looks identical to this. The color of the sensor is different but it looks like the length and size is the same. I am gonna purchase a unit and report back if they are the same. if this jaguar unit is compatible this would be a huge help for the 348 and I think the 355 community. Will report back on my findings. the jaguar units seem to sell around the 300-400 compared to the 1500 most Ferrari dismantlers are selling for.

    Welcome. I am trying to raise awareness about cross-referencing parts across brands and manufacturers: indeed, very few parts in our vehicles are Ferrari-specific.

    I even started a blog/magazine called Affordable Supercar Magazine where I explore the whole idea of affordable exotic vehicle ownership (not a commercial venture: it's just a repository of information everyone can/should feel free to contribute to). This effort is still in its infancy but who knows, it may get the traction it deserves ;)

    Anything Jaguar related, feel free to let me know after you find the compatible part. I have a friend for whom I do corp. taxes for who has a Jaguar wrecking yard.
    You can look him up yourselves if you wish just let Avo or Andre know that you are a friend of Steve who deals with ferraries and he will hook you up.

    Its not an actuator but it is a pressure switch. I purchased a spare before from Amazon or Rockauto. It was around $ 120.00 Check the 348 sticky thread for info.

    Ordered a Range Rover P38 4.0 4.6 95-02 pressure switch. Same exact in the exterior apperance of it. Plugged it in and my abs light is off. Seems like it works. 69.00 shipped on ebay. It was a used unit.
