After almost passing out from the fumes coming out of the back of my car I thought I might check the mixture setting. I believe that there is 2 seperate airflow meters and that they are supposed to be set around 383 ohms? I would appreciate it if someone could point me towards a thread about the steps involved and the location of the pins used to measure the setting. I was also wondering why this particular car is so petrified of its exhaust getting hot. I realize its not a Camry but I have never owned anything that has so many seperate ECU's and idiot lights just for the exhaust. Are the cat ECU's involved with setting the mixture at all or are they just used to monitor temperature for safety? And lastly, does anybody set the mixture a tad rich for acceleration or will it put too much unburnt gas in the converters? Thanks for your help.
