348 abs system repaired !

Just a few words of thanks to the "brotherhood" for all the info I researched on the site. I was getting frustrated as every component I checked proved to be operating properly, but the damn yellow "abs" light continued to shine brightly ! After copying and taping together the applicable wiring diagrams and following the trouble shooting instructions I had researched with the very valuable "search" option I simply could not duplicate any of the problems other owners had found. Every component seemed to check out from the wheel sensors to the pump and pressure switches, relays and diodes, fluid level switches and wiring and terminals. Curses ! There was only one option left and I searched the "brainbox" part number on E-bay ( E5LC-2C219-AA) There it was for 34.99 and applicable to a 1987 Lincoln Mk VII. In short order I received the box and proceeded to connect it to the harness multi pin plug for a quick test. Well what do you know but my amber opponent extinguished itself as per the book and all is right with the world! Thanks again FerrariChat, JGW 1990 348ts
