And pull the relay and fuses for the ABS so the warning lights don't come on? Does the ECU care?

The ABS light gets +12V from the ignition switch and it is grounded (lit-up) by the ABS relays and also by the ABS computer directly. If you remove the relays and the diodes box (looks like a relay, next to the ABS relays; I think it has a large white dot on it), it should not have path to the ground and should not come on. If it still does, you will have to cut the yellow wire in the loom to the ABS computer (or remove/unplug the computer).

Those are not alternative 348 systems. Remember it is 1989 for the 348. Those are non-ABS brake systems and in the case of anything track worthy people thought they were better than the ABS. Reality is ABS is pretty darn good and no one today builds a racecar without it. Today we have tuneable Bosch Motorsports ABS and several other who claim to be just as good but if you are going to spend the money you buy Bosch.

That m5 clubsport is a sweet system I think about 8k in parts. The time attach guys seem to love it and is a requirement in those radical machines
