I know you said you had one but didnt think you were willing to part with it...lol Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Yah i know. But that part number is NLA ... anywhere or my google skills suck. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Have you tried using the Denso dealer locator from the Denso site???? http://densoautoparts.com/where-to-buy.aspx
They don't even list that part as one of their own on their website.... Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Good grief! You guys crack me up. I typed in 126000-0400 denso regulator into google and this site popped up. https://www.finditparts.com/products/2379264/denso-126000-0400 $22.84 IN STOCK. You better hurry up and buy it, because if you don't I just may buy it and hoard the world supply. MUUUAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
Dude.. I ST the Ferrari Gods i googled the same thing yesterday. Now today it comes up. Thanks though buddy! I think i found one on ebay too but the description is different than the pic.. it says 12600-0700... the pic shows the 400... so i ordered it anyhow. Will see when it comes. I usually am a great Googler... but you get the 5 star google award today my friend! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I'd be surprised if that's actually a Denso made part. David, could you let us know when you have it in hand?
Schweet! Thanks for the update. Which amperage alternator does it fit? Yeah, I know I should read back through the post, but right now I'm hungry...
Good question.. the Denso one. Mine is a 93 speciale so i do need to confirm that its correct. I have another coming from Ebay so hang tight... maybe ill fwd it to you. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Confirmed same size. Brushes look good. Little dirty. At first i didnt think i had a brush cap... but i found it stuck to the cover. Btw found ernie's DIY on AutoDIY.com...which came up first on google today.. lol Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
What's the part number on your alternator? Apparently there were two Denso alternators fitted to the 348-- a 105 amp and a 140 amp (IIRC). No idea if they use the same regulator but in other such cases I've seen a different regulator part number for each version. Thanks!
Not sure.. the only part number i can make out is 1557_5. .. i cant tell the blank number. You have a list of part numbers? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
According to Miro's posts in the 348 section they are: 105A Denso, p/n 148471 (or 155785), Denso Number 101211-5070 140A Denso, p/n 156235, Denso Number 101211-7580 Looks like you and I probably have the same 105 amp alt. Would you agree? If so, I'm gonna order a regulator from your source.
I would agree.. ill try to clean up the label a bit and see if i can make it cleaner... but for sure its not the latter part number. Ok 355 fellows... go get that Denso regulator... if they don't have it, i do cuz i bought em all..... lol. Actually just bought one extra. I am half tempted to order an 87 supra alt though... just to see if it fits. Lol Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Ordered. Shipping was painful, but if these are truly NLA it's good to have a spare. Maybe this means I won't have alternator problems. Thanks to you for the info & Ernie for the find.
Agreed $10 is ridiculous I did get 10% off with new cust code. Let thou know about Ebay once i get it.. cheaper including shipping. Will post link if legit. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Arrgh. I missed the new customer code. Tried to find something else to buy their site in hopes of getting free shipping but that site is kind of a mess.
After I had a bad dream I forgot to tighten the Alt Tensioner pulley.... I put her up in the air and 10 minutes later confirmed it was just a stupid dream. Fired her up, took her out for a drive and no issues thus far. Let's hope the Denso VR does the trick. Thanks for all the help and this great thread.
