I can only imagine how much these things must go for, but I'll ask anyway: does anyone know where I could get a beige convertible top cover to match the interior on my 1994 348 Spider? I haven't even picked it up yet but it has a black cover and I think beige looks better. Ideally, since the interior (and the whole car) are almost 12 years old, I'd like to get a beige cover out of a wrecked vehicle or something so that it too is in the neighbor hood of 12 years old. I think a new one wouldn't look right, not to mention be quite costly. Anybody have any ideas? Anyone with a beige cover wanna swap with me for a black one? :) Its in perfect shape -- no tears no marks.

It was standard with the 95 model spider. Check Ferrari, or your friendly neighborhood upholstery shop, or a good Ferrari restorer (Call Bobileff in San Diego - 858-622-1600) for advice.

I might be interested in your black one once you source your beige - my car has a custom crema boot cover in vinyl and I really want navy blue - reckon I can strip and dye a black one to get what I'm after.

PM me if you like and good luck on the tan. New ones are around $1K in leather from what I've seen.

Also, let Michael at Ferrari Service of Costa Mesa www.ferrariservice.ws know what you're looking for as he buys wrecked cars regularly for parts and you might get lucky.

    Cheers

Looked into this for the same reason. Have a black leather boot cover, want tan.
    Look at www.worlduph.com
They quoted tan leather @ $1310 and German Canvas @ $990. Product appeared to be good quality. Interested if anyone has direct experience.

    Kevalino,

Thanks. Sent an email to Mike. He doesn't have one right now, but has me on his "list".

    Spider348,

I would be interested in hearing feedback from others as well. This could be an alternative, but I'd really prefer a used one so it is at least a little worn looking -- I'd rather not mix a 12 year old interior with a brand new top cover if I can avoid it.
