Can anyone assist ?. I have purchased a 348 with accident damage on the front, the car is rebuilt but I dont like the look of the panel in front of the headlamp pods, I can see my upper crossmember when looking from the back of the bonnet (hood)towards the front of the headlamp pod, is this correct ???. could anyone post or send a image ??

Sounds like maybe the front end portion of the frame may have been pushed upward when damaged. Thus why you can see the cross member. Looking down the slope of the 348 hood everything should be smooth and tight. just a guess though

Well that doesn't look anywhere near as bad as I expected. I wouldn't suspect frame damage there. Can't take any photos of mine right now because it is being worked on. Maybe just misaligned light pods. I'm sure some of the others will be able to help you out on this one.

I cant tell from the pictures if the head lamp pods sit bellow the line of the front fenders/wings. If they do then the pods just need adjusting and raised up a little. This is easy to do.

headlight pods are level with wings (fenders) and bonnet (hood)

And by the looks of it the front panel is also level with the bonnet? If this is the case there is very little one can do about this being it has had a bump.
I reckon its either that or Ferraris notorious crap build quality.

Well, the pics are dark and fuzzy, but they look right to me! the front edge of bucket covers slope down at the very front and do sit below the nose piece. The key is to see if the left and right edges are even and consistent with the bonnet and wings.

It does look like the nose panel is out of adjustment where it meets the wings, but the position of the bucket covers looks right!

Its the bit in between the nose panel and the headlamp pod that doesnt look right to me, you can only see it when you look down over the light. can someone post a picture of there pod/nose panel ?

I had a look at mine and it looks very similar to yours, so nothing to worry about. The top of the headlight (when closed) is not flush with the front end, it sits about half inch lower. That is the only part that is not flush.

I will take a few pics and post them here tomorrow.
