    does anyone have an were I can get the factory specs. for 348ts body measurements,my books are missing pages from them,and most body shops I talked to.they donot have a clue and of corse the ferrari dealer won't help.a friend of mine purchased a 1990 348ts and when he show the car he said the the t-top was missing.So I help him get one ,and when we put it on the car one side has a gap about 1 and1/4" and the other side is touching.and when i asked him what happen to the t-top,his answer was that while he was driving his car he hit a bump in the road and the top flew off and it went in the pacific ocean.So we been trying to find what are the body measurements and specs. for this car.so can anyone help?

    I doubt if there is a chart anywhere that shows body dimensions, other than length/width/height/track/wheelbase. I can scan a copy of these dimensions for you. There isn't a chart in my 348 workshop manual that shows any other dimensions, except for alignment-related. A Ferrari bodyshop might have cross dimensions for frame straightening.

    I have a 1990 348ts, and I'd be happy to go out into the garage with a tape measure and give you any measurement you like (without getting underneath).

    If you have a targa top with a 1 1/4" gap on one side, you have a problem somewhere (!).

    I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by "cross angle" - from where to where? Are you interested in dimensions of the targa top? Or the opening for the top? Or frame dimensions? I'll help if I can.

    as you can see by the blue lines, see attachment,i think the best and ture way to measure is where the visor is there are three screws the one closest to the inside start there and to the other hole were the t-top (rear) goes you'll have to remove the plastic ring to get a better measurement from and then go across the other way. I think the best way to get a good measurement is to take one of the visor off.let me know what you think ,thanks

    I'm sorry, I didn't have time to do this on Wednesday. I understand now which dimensions you want me to measure, and I'll do it on Thursday evening, OK?

    OK, gentlemen; here's what I've come up with.

    If you sit in the drivers seat and look up at the latch on the windshield frame, you see three screws. I'm taking my measurements from the center of the middle screw on each side, and going back to the FACE of the round hole for the targa top pin - not INTO the hole, just at the face.

    Ideally, you want length 1 & 2 to be the same, and length 3 & 4 to be the same. It came out within 1/8" on my car, which is pretty close.

    On my car:
    1 = 24 3/8"
    2 = 24 1/2"
    3 = 40 1/8"
    4 = 40 1/16"

    I have to send my computer away for a couple of days for service, so I won't be around to answer further questions. Hopefully your car isn't badly bent.
