348 Brakes Squeekin, E Brake not E-ing!

    My car needs brakes. They are squeekin pretty bad. And the e brake soens't do much.
    What is the preferred brand of brakes?

    I did the usual search, a bunch of unrelated material!

    Advise please.

    In regaurd to the parking break, it sounds like you need an adjustment. When you do the breaks you should also inspect the parking break shoes. You will need to remove the rotor to see the condition of the shoes. After you check the condition adjust the parking break shoes then adjust the parking break cable.
