No Doubt -- it's 2:30am. What's your excuse for being up now?? :)
For me, it's just a bad habit now. I used to have REALLY bad insomnia until I finally got on a medication program that works. Now I just simply like to stay up late when it's peaceful and quiet, and get up as late as possible in the morning. No babies here. How's Luca doing, Daniel? (....URP....)
Me again. Just caught about 3 hours of shut-eye. Looks like that's all for tonight. Ugggg. Good news? Luca and I are taking a little roadtrip (1 hour) this morning to deliver a Challenge Grill to a customer who lives nearby. Bad news? He's not big enough to drive the car while I sleep in the passenger seat. d
Just a lowly 328 owner here........ ;-) But also apparently an insomniac. I don't think the problem is ME, but instead is this damned FerrariChat!! I was laying in bed after waking up for whatever reason and realized I hadn't been on this site in two days. So I get up to check it. An hour later, I am still here..... And I have a bachelor party to go to tomorrow with golf and other "festivities". I was honestly thinking about going out and finishing the water spot removal I was doing on the 328. I screwed up two weeks ago by trying to wash it in a hot sun with my hose. Don't know WHAT I was thinking. I have been driving with water spots. I had tried EVERYTHING and the crap wouldn't come off. Finally was in the wife's cabinet looking for something and came upon Spot Rinse stuff you put in the dishwasher to prevent and remove hard water deposits on your plates and glasses. I was a little nervous about it so I diluted it. I basically put a diluted solution in a bucket. Then I got scared about my paint and dumped out the bucket and refilled it with hot water without rinsing the bucket out. Basically this mixture is now "SUPER diluted". I took it out and gave it a try and "VOILA" it took the spots right off. I think it also took the wax off (which is a good thing). The paint is shiny as can be!! But if you rub your finger to it, is SO clean that it almost squeeks like a clean glass or plate would (do you guys undertand what I mean by that??). Anyway, I am thinking, I will finish the entire car and then apply my 3-step Meguiar's I have been using. It is their 3 step system with the 3rd step (their Carnauba) being replaced by their Tech Wax (which was told to a guy here in Madison I met by Barry Meguiar himself). I have been VERY impressed with this modified 3 step process. Easy to use, goes on with a standard foam pad, looks like Vaseline on the car, and comes off easy. You don't wait for the stuff to dry or anything. You can do all three steps and be DONE in an hour and a half. Which is WELL worth the time as the result is unreal.
I use Griots products. I haven't used the clay bar, but the Best of Show wax they have is great. All you have to do between details is wash it and spray it down with speed shine.
Haven't slept good in months. Pleae note the grumpy face on such a happy occasion. Pacifier in hand .... Ready for the pic!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
