348 Bumper, why is it not symetrical?

    Why is there an opening on one side of the bumper and not the other? Towing hook?

    The opening on the right side of the front bumper is the air intake for the A/C condenser. An opening isn't needed on the left side.

    The tow hook is screwed into a threaded recepticle on the left side of the front "grill".

    It's a perfectly logical question, with a logical answer.
