348 Carbon Fiber Test fit

Ok.
The bulk of Andre's kit has arrived. The initial test fit is now complete. There are still quite a few tweaks to be performed but, overall the work is just great.
Here are a few shots. Sorry for the poor quality. It is neither my intention, nor purpose to start a war about who has the best product. I understand the company that does carbon parts and is a sponsor of F-chat does nice work as well. These parts will be available soon. I'll make the completed fits and Andre will tweek the molds, (a few were quite near perfect as of this fitting), then he'll offer the interior for sale. Check it out:

My CF interior bits will be done soon as well.

PS What about switching to 355 dash bits? I am sure they swap in rather easily.

I have been looking to get and try to make them work in my 328 (355 dash parts) and sourced prices in Europe at around 150 for a tach and 125 for a water temp and oil pressure combo.

Something to consider...

 

CONGRATS!!! Sweeet!!!! Does he make door panels, center console, etc for the 308??? Been looking but no one seems to make anything other than the dash and a SMALL bit on the center

Your profile says nothing about your car. Can you share some details on the turbo on your car? I've acquired a second engine and am considering a turbo.

Sure. It's a twim turbo by Norwood's. It is water to air intercooled and managed by Motec. The car is great fun and, IMHO, runs like a Ferrari should from the factory. It produces 15lbs of boost and the last dyno sheet shows 417 WHP. Not the fastest car on the street, but a GREAT daily driver.

 

How does the carbon fiber fit? Its not with adhesive tape, is it?

I am interesting in purchasing a kit, please shoot me some detials when you get a moment.

Where can i buy the ash tray in carbon fiber.

Would like internal door handles and Air box in engine bay doing as well..

Andre has the ash trey. It is one of his pieces that fit perfetly with zerorequired tweaks. It simply snaps right in place. Looks great. You won't be disappointed. Drop him some mail, he'll send you one. Best of luck.

When will the glass cover the 348 be done ?
I ask Valence to do a 348 Air box in C/F and was working on it. I have not heard from them for months !!!!
