348 Carpet Kit and other 348 questions

It's not listed on the website but they have it. They supply most of the resellers like World Up and ICP.

 

1. OEM replacement door sills are available. Personally, I have carbon fiber ones from KAZ Automotive in Canada and think they're swell. If you want OEM, I know this dude who has a great little Ferrari parts business:

2. Front cavallino? No need to buy the whole grill ($1000+), because it doesn't even come with the nice horse for that price! Just buy the horse as a standalone item, and fashion your own mount. Many of us have done it easily. On my car, the mount cost about $0.23 using a piece of scrap thin aluminum cut into strips:

Some of the racers on this forum have yanked out their 348 carpet sets to save weight. They'd probably appreciate your money for their unneeded parts...

The seats on your 348 are held down with 4 allen bolts...easy to remove. Your carpet lifts out easily from there, and most boat shops, auto upholstry, and even a few home carpet shops will be able to cut the carpet of your choice to match the set that you just pulled.

Re-Originals is showing 348 carpet kits as "back ordered" on their website. Price $1100. It might be worth a call to find out if they have any idea when they will be available again.

you can freshen up -revitalize the color of the carpet with spray . but i wouldnt try a full color change .

 

The reason I heard it is hard to get is because it is molded carpet set.That's why nobody makes it.

 

Can you not get them new from ferrari?? I priced a full set up £420 i did not think that was bad

 

I have heard this too!!! Can anyone verify success putting carpet down that wasn't molded. Did it look ok??? or just not fit right???

 

So where can you get a complete carpet kit a 348 and how much is it? None of the suppliers listed carry them.

Come on guys. Someone must have replaced the interior carpet before.

GHAA doesn't sell it. It's preformed, I guess that's why it's hard to find.
