    This is probably the only after-market item (other than Capristo, etc.) that I'd consider putting on the F-car. Would add a little storage space too. Anyone know of one that I can just drop on and secure in some manner? Certainly don't want to go to the effort and $$$ of having one fabricated.

    My car has one, from the factory (see below). But I think some Fchatters have made custom ones. There was a thread a while back.... let me noodle it around....

    Thanks Daniel. I did do a search before posting. No joy. But then maybe my keywords were off. Seems to me I've got at my right elbow a recessed are in the top of the console, where I stash some CDs, and an area just behind for cassette tape storage. How dated is that. But, no upholstered armrest or storage area like what the Item B assembly in you blowup appears to be.

    Bill/Daniel, thanks for the "crappy" photos. They're fine. Your armrests look very similar. Daniel indicated his came w/the car. Stock? My 348 is a '95 Spider. Maybe the folks in Maranello dropped the armrest at a point to cut corners. I note that Bill is in an '89 ts and Daniel has a '90 ts, per your profiles. Both VERY nice looking, BTW.

    Daniel, your blowup references "Accessories." Do you think it is available? Salvage maybe.

    Honestly, I'd look for a salvage unit and just have it re-covered. I haven't priced all the bits and pieces, but I would guess it's way too expensive to justify as new. Save that money for something more fun like HyperFlows or whatever. Try a place like Ferrari Parts Exchange or Eurospares. Those guys rip apart cars all day long, and might have something.
