    Hello,

A 348 Challenge that will soon reach the revs limiter in 5th gear.

    Car clocked during 3 kms at 282,5 km/h ...

If you have pictures like this, it could be fun thread.

    Best,

Why is your oil pressure reading off the scale?

I am sure there was no front end lift at 280+ clicks.......yikes! Generally, anything much over 160 creates a fair amout of lift on these cars.

    Hello,

The Challenge car with different spring, modified shocks & chassis set up is much better at high speeds.

Cool pic. :) Did you nearly run out of fuel by the end of it? I see the light on?? :p And when did the gauge go hay-wire?? At high speed?? Or has it been unreliable for a while now going up there like that? :)

These pics are BS. Camera is way to steady and no sighting out of windows to give clue.

I say car is jacked up with wheels off the ground.

348 doesn't have the power to pull VMax.

    What is this ??

First of all, the postic pic is not mine, I saw it on the web last year.
Secondly, I've seen just over 280km/h on my 93 348tb speedo several times.
Remember, here we can take the highway and gooooo......
No use for a track and praying that you run out of runway or whatever.

The 348 was listed for 275km/h so an extra fake 10km/h on the speedo is nothing special, right ?

    Besides that:

Phil i hit the rev limiter in top gear last year at RAF Marham 2.5mile runway and you could get onto it at 70mph with some practice, you can max a 348 out.

    ????????????

My passanger made the picture when I was driving as my two hands were very busy !

Especially when at more than 280 km/h the car hits the revs limiter ( 7850 RPM ) , it's vibrating a lot and looks it will dismentle !

Find a picture we took a little bit later after the "Vmax" test stopped at the toll.

    That's "the" car ...
