    I checked my 1993 Italian 348 Challenge and it has what looks like the standard fuel feed system.

    The setup above looks to have been listed as part of the Challenge kit in 1994 and my car had the engine modified to '119H' spec around that time, but I guess they chose not to fit this fuel valve at the time?

    The 94' regs mention that, on vehicles fitted with the 119/G motor, the fuel pumps could be replaced with part no. 15099 to improve scavenging. I don't know if changing the fuel pumps led to the new new fuel valve set up?

    Not sure either. To me it looks like aback purge valve
    I dont have it on mine

    My 94 challenge manual shows part 3 as valvola prelievo. I believe this set up was for fuel sampling for tech inspection. There was no performance advantage here.
