348 Challenge preparation

Thanx a lot for this very inspiring post. I was about to start changing my rear wheel bearings, but now i´m planning to go the full monty. Cheers mate!

Have you done all the work by yourself or were there specialists involved?

 

The original poster was a professional, a shop owner in Canada.

 

I was at the track that day and saw the car; it looked really nice. Regrettably it is my understanding that the car did one or two laps before catching fire. From what I heard it was a small blaze that was contained quickly and did minimal damage but it did halt the car for the rest of the day. These hiccups crop up from time to time during shakedowns and I am certain the car will be back and running strong in no time.

 

An air conditioning line popped and there was a small fire. The car is currently being repaired and will be running shortly.

He was actually just on tv on a car segment here in Toronto this past Sunday.

His 348CH has been complete for months now. Onto the next project.
