    Since my car ('91 348) came out of hibernation I have not been able to reset the clock. It flashes 0.00 and pressing button 'A' does nothing. It worked properly before being taken off the road. The battery was disconnected from time to time over the winter, could that be relevant? Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Press three times "and thou shall see a miracle"

    It is not enough pressing just once. Have to do it "thrice". Then after those three times you set the hour and another next press will let you set the minutes.

    At least that is according to my memory. If it doesn´t work give us another beep and I will check the booklet.

    Thanks for your reply. According to the handbook you press 'A' once to display hours, twice to display minutes and three times to display seconds. I have tried pressing it multiple times, but it makes no difference I'm afraid.

    I was considering having a look at the wiring but since nothing has been touched or disturbed since it was last working it's hard to see why there might be a problem there.

    I guess displaying is one thing and setting is something quite different. Can´t tell for sure until later since I am at work.

    Mine would let you set the time, but then would randomly reset itself to 0:00. Very common problem. Mine turned out to be a dry joint on the PCB. The are a few ribbon cable connectors and board interconnects in the HVAC unit that get a little corroded with time and everything goes loopy - easy to fix if you are confident in opening it up, cleaning the pins an applying contact grease.

    That is exactly what happens to mine. Chris has the answer and its not hard to do. I remember a thread with pics on the whole process a year or two ago.
