Does anyone know the proper pocedure to adjust the clutch. Clutch seems fine but the pedal is getting higher on engagement. Thanks
Even though there's nothing inside the actual clutch to adjust, the height of the clutch pedal (relative to the floor or the brake pedal) is probably adjustable. See if there's a "turnbuckle" arrangement in the linkage between the business end of the clutch pedal arm and the clutch master cylinder plunger -- it should be fairly obvious what/how to adjust (once you contort yourself under the dash ).
The clutch is not adjustable. There might be a pedal adjustment as mentioned but it would never get out of adjustment. Adjusting it would very possibly upset the proper operation of the hydraulic system. The normal wearing of the clutch will make the operation of the clutch happen at a higher range of the clutch pedal travel. As the top end of the travel and the friction point come together means the clutch is circling the drain.
