Couldn't find any cold start fixes in search, only hot. My 90 348ts tarts up quick but idles rough until you give it some gas. Idle races up and down and is just not smooth running at idle. When it warms, its good. Any ideas? Thanks all

    2. idle air throttle body passage-ways need cleaning
    3. idle bypass screws need adjusting

^^^ most likely causes above ^^^

VVV less likely causes below VVV

    4. alternator is causing voltage fluctuations (Motronic 2.5 and 2.7 use the alt/batt voltage to determine the base fuel mixture)

Thats what I would also go with 1st. :):)
Clean them with some spray carby cleaner. Should be able to get some from your local parts shop. Buy a 2nd can and clean those throttle bodies while you are there. :):)

I would start first by disconnecting and reconnecting key connecotrs like TPS and MAF and both coil pak connecotrs on each side of the rear uprights. Then dsconnect the battery for 10 seconds and reconnect the battery. Turn off all accessories like the A/C and radio and start the car and don't touch it for 10 minutes. Only pulse the throttle if for sure it is going to die. If it sounds like it is going to die leave it alone for 10 minutes. Then turn the car off and see what happens with a cold engine in a few hours.
