    I have a matching painted roof on my, but yesterday I wrapped it in 4D gloss carbon fiber. Looks fantastic.
    It looks so cool I don't want to take the roof off anymore.

    who ever told you this had to be like 106 year old... they don't put any "additives" in paint any more.its "built in" because there arn't any cars that have solid surfaces any more.. it was used in the 80's/90's that's about it..

    Haha. Maybe! Especially if the way is marked with the blue H signs and arrows. (As is common in the States.). ;)

    I was advised by an top notch auto painter that if you have ever used ArmorAll or any other well know detail products which contain silicone, that the silicone absorbs into plastic and fiberglass. Even when sanded and primed, the silicone can cause spotting in the new paint.
    I decided it's not worth it.
