    I have seen a few 348's where the targa top has been painted or dyed to match the car color instead of black. Does anyone know which it is or how it's done?

    yes, fully sanded down to get rid of the texture, and then painted.

    Did mine too. Cost about $400 total for the prep, paint and Alcantara headliners.
