    Hey guys! How difficult is it to adjust the driver's side door? For the last couple of years my 1994 348 Spider driver's door, when fully opened, continues to make contact and put a 3/4 inch vertical crease in the paint on the lower body panel following the front wheel. I've had a detail guy touch it up occasionally but it's become a problem that I want to solve once and for all. Any thoughts?

    Add some shims to the bottom door hinge so that the latch catches exactly where it is supposed to.

    When mine did that we replaced the hinges. They were hyperextended. OR maybe there's a retaining strap in there. I forgot.
