Larger capacity turbo/super charged motors will always make more power than smaller turbo/super charged motors.

There is more known oil reserves today than there was even 10 years ago.

All we have to do is to figure out how not to kill the planet while enjoying its fruits.

im curious... do you have a FI car that's either a stroker or not? Do you actually race them?

If you did, you would know that stock CI and small bored motors are truly the king of the streets. Ill put my 346 up against any car.. stroker or not and will walk away from them every time.. big "motors" are great... if your in to tractor pulling contest..hahah

fyi.. blower work on rpms... which is why i shift my v8 at 7800.. strokers are all out at around 6300 or so..

Can they still make the ever tightening emission requirements? - I suspect not!

Each year it is getting harder and harder for them!

They already have - They're called small capacity turbo engines with hybrid electric technology!

BMW have already started down sizing their engines and are relying on turbo's rather than displacement for performance and emissions, and Ferrari are talking of smaller capacity turbo engines for their future cars.

Bury your head in the sand all you want but the days of the big capacity engines are drawing to a close!
