You’re totally welcome. I don’t wanna lead you down any rabbit holes. Just giving my advice with something that I have a little bit of knowledge about. Just seems very likely with what you described. Good luck I hope it’s a easy easy fix

Until today, I didn't even realize that was an alarm...makes total sense now. The weird thing is that this didn't happen all summer...had no issues. It has to be something electrical preventing the engine from even trying to crank.

Anytime you reconnect a car battery if there’s an aftermarket alarm, it’s gonna set that alarm off when power is reconnected. So if it is an alarm causing issue, the alarm just probably hasn’t been triggered until you replaced the battery.

All your other accessories, etc., work correct? The stereo plays the lights come on, etc.?
If it’s a starter kill, the only thing that won’t work is a signal that goes to tell the starter to turn. all your other functions. Will most likely work like normal.

I have a diagram, but as OB says, if you don't know what you're looking at/for, it's not going to help.

Have you tried pushing the "valet" switch or whatever it is? When you push it, does it latch down or just spring back up? Either way, experiment with it. Push it once and release... does the car start? Can you push and hold it and try to start the car? Does the switch wiring go to the steering column or to, say, the passenger footwell?

    We need some clearer photos.
