    Multi discs let you multiple torque loads so ingeneral yes the dual is better but more costly and more work for unskilled mechanics to fix properly. However, if the car only needed a single then why a dual was ever used in the first place is beyond me. However, the 348 was the car to put Ferrari back on the map and it was as hot as the 430 today in 1989. So perhaps they put in adual just because nobody else has it just like nobody has the 360 real aerodynamic undertray. When was the last time 99% of 360 owners every use that? I can never get my 360 buddies to the track or anyone else for that matter. In so cal we are dominated by Ferrari polishers not trackers.

    Hey did you get the cutoff bits and the spacers yet? Yeah lets get that dirty thing on the track. Here are 2 mellow track events. FCA 3/5/05 and 3/6/05 willow springs big track and speed ventures 3/11/05 one day on a friday at buttonwillow. Man...I hope you aren't driving today. The electronics will never survive it! I'll bring some gear and we can train in the paddock between run groups. Take your pick , a little escrima, silat, standing grapple, throws, thai,western B, bjj?

    Hahahaa. No I haven't been able to get the little bits made yet. With all the holiday madness that went on, I didn't have much time for it. I did go back to the mechanic to see if maybe he had them, but no luck. So I will have to get new ones machined. I did talk to my friend and he told me were to go to get the diamond tip bits.

    Oh for those of you wondering, billybob has my flywheel, and we are gonna be doing the solid modification to it.

    I'm not driving it at the moment. I have it on jack stands right now, getting ready to put a new wheel bearing in the left rear.

    So how much is Billy bob charging for this masterpiece of a fix? I'm sure everyone with a 348 on here would send out their flywheel! I know I would!

    One used flywheel = $1,500

    Materials = $250

    In your face to the stupid design, and never having to
    worry about your flywheel puking grease everywhere = priceless
