    My 1991 348 came with a fob the red one but the Battery was died in it I put a new battery in the light lights up in it but it don't lock or unlock the doors or anything I would guess that it lost its memory to the car any one know how to relearn it to the car

    348s didn't come with factory fobs, as far as I understand.

    Has it ever worked? They don't really lose their memory.

    You could try soldering the eprom chip into a new fob and see if that works.

    I thought fobs (factory systems) entered the scene with 1996+ cars?

    I just got the car looks like the factory red fob I guess I'll send the guy a email I bought the car from and ask him if it ever worked before

    Sounds like a different fob than I'm used to. One that isn't tied to an immobilizer?

    That looks like a 355/456 factory fob. It would not come with a 348. Perhaps somewhere along the line a dealer mixed things up and put a 355 fob with the 348 keys.

    That's what its looking like might just have to give it to my bubby jim then see if he can get it program to his 95 355 some how if that's the case
