Are OEM folding key blanks for the 348 hard to find??

Apparently they are no longer made. I have seen some auctions for them on Ebay, but I cannot vouch for their correctness, or if they are made by Ferrari. I have heard that you can use an Alfa key blank (non folding) available at places like Ace Hardware. BT
That sucks! I luckily bought one from ricambi a few months ago. Its been already cut into a 3rd spare key for me. I have 4 keys. The chances of losing 4 keys and not being able to drive the 348 should be remotely slim now.
The folding key is getting really hard to come by - Ricambi is out, Ferrari isn't producing them anymore and a couple of other resources I have checked on are exhausted as well. If you want an original Ferrari steel key blank Ricambi still had a few of the 355 lighted key blanks left (last time I checked) which will work for the 348.
I don't understand why people say that the 355 key will work in the 348, and that the 360 key will work in the 355, but that the 360 key won't work in the 348. What gives?! (can you tell that I want a 360 key?!)
The Fiat key by Ilco is sold at every hardware store that I've been in. Two Dollars. Makes a great 348 spare, but is ugly (all metal).
Pap, I've got key envy! I only have 3, and 2 of those are the ugly all-metal Ilco spares. Ya got me beat, mate.
