348 with a de-catt tubi following a 355 spider with standard exhaust on a trackday in France. http://www.fgear.tv/ab/
Impressive. I love the 'click-click' sound of the shift gate. Looks to me that the number of turns negated any horsepower difference!
The 355 guy is either driving toooo slooooow or he's an amateur driver..... ....and the 348 driver needs to get a wide-angle camera lens so he can record ALL the action (not just the front of his bumper)! VK
Great sound. I love the growl the 348 makes. I don't think there is a better sound than a 355 though. You apex later in turn 1 to set up turn 2 better. LOL. Looks like alot of fun.
The camera could have used a wide(r) angled lens. Long lenses don't convey speed, not to mention they can give you "Blair Witch Disease"! Where's my Dramamine...
Yes. we call it a de-cat over here. it has tubi pipes installed and a K&N airfilter. Not Chaa.......... I had to keep slowing down so I could get a better shot. The circuit was very twisty. It's perfect for small cars like the Lotus Elise. I never got into 5th and very very rarely into 4th. Compared to a big fast circuit it was very very tiring. It was early in the day and neither of us knew the track. It was the 355 owners first track day and only my second. It's an old camcorder I had. I later stuck it on the rear window, but there was too much wind noise.
the guy is driving appropriately IMO given its a spider and he has a passenger. Personally I would never take a convertible out on a track or consider pushing it with a passenger on board. He is tooling around for this reason I would guess.
