Beautiful car. I would be asking for records of the most recent 30K service. If those aren't available, it's a $35-37K car in this environment. If they ARE available AND it was a recent 30K service (last 2 years) AND it was a comprehensive 30K service (that's 3 big thresholds that you have to cross), then it's a $42-43K car.

Hope this helps. The 348 is the most splendid of Ferraris and you will love it.

Pricing depends strictley on miliage and service records as well as the obvious condition. Without them you are faced with possibility that the car doesn't have the proper service. Service and lack there of can be very expensive. The car looks great and the price sounds good, just make sure that it has those records. Use the search here, you will find alot of helpfull info. I did and I'm the happy owner of a 90' 348ts. You can not have enough info with these cars. Good luck and remeber have fun. You will find looking is alot of fun as well. Jeff

This is advertised as a Challenge car. It doesn't look like it has been tracked/raced. These are the best, and among the rarest, of the 348's IMO. It is far more valuable that the range quoted above - I'd put it in the 60's and the range depends on the services, true. It's too bad it lacks Challenge seats. I definitely would make sure that the car is a Challenge and not a car that had a badge addition. Even then, a 1994 TB coupe is pretty rare on the market.

Just a few observations from the pictures of the car:

    - the original radio faceplate has been removed and backing plate for the radio modified/changed to accept the double DIN nav system (original has a single DIN slot). It would be nice if the originals were included to have the option to return it to stock.

    - the door panels look like they came from a Spider (indent in rear of panels to allow space for Spider top mechanism). I'm not familiar with Challenge door panels, so these may be correct.

    - footwell fuse panel cover incorrectly installed (red bracket seen at bottom lip should be behind panel); it does look like the rubber that covers the panel is included as it is shown on the floor of the passanger side.

    - I'm not sure what the heck the extra electronic goodies are hanging from the dash and bolted to the passanger side of the footwell area (one looks like an iPod connector) but they are not stock items.

    - missing triangle trim piece on driver door (mirror mount) - NLA, but aftermarket available from Ricambi.

    - tweeters mounted in doors not stock.

Other than that, rare car, rare model and rare year. If it checks out w/records this could be a really nice purchase. Good luck!

We saw this car on Fchat before. I think this was the one where I noted the roll bar cutouts on the rear floor, near the seats. Let me do some searching...

I hope I am wrong but I thought that this car had some fire damage in the past and was re-painted. I spoke to J Lowery a few years back and he was pissed at FoH for not disclosing this info - maybe FoH didnt know about it.

Again do your research. I hope I am wrong.

A true Challenge car with good records should bring over $50k even in today's depressed markets.

To my point above, I am not necessarily asking you to walk away. The car may have been fixed right. It's just that it wouldnt be equivalent in price to a car without a damage record. I would recommend a thorough inspection to make sure that the car is perfect for you.

My bad on the estimate: I didn't realize this was a challenge car. Of course, "challenge car" is going to take on a whole knew meaning if you find out it's been in a fire.

This vehicle was registered in a county declared a flood disaster area by the Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA ).

Hmmm...while most of these vehicles may not have been damaged, you should check for flood and/or other damage during your pre-purchase inspection.

Door panels are that way for the roll cage to fit. Mine has the same and every tb challenge I have seen have the "spider" door panels.

As for the car, I am pretty sure it has already been purchased.
