Want to refinish front chin piece on 91 348TS. Is there an easy way to remove the assembly, or would it best to just refinish in place.
    Any suggestions?

The front bumper is pretty easy to remove. As I recall there are 4 bolts behind the carpet along the front wall of the trunk, and 2 bolts inside each wheel well, and maybe something underneath, but all told, it doesn't take long.

This is on my to do list as well. I was pretty certain I was going to remove the whole front bumper cover since I'm painting it body color, but after some thought leaving it in place and doing it that way is the way to go. The bumper cover has enough of a lip on the fold over to the lowest part that even if a slight paint line forms, it will be very difficult to see.

Meister, yeah it was quite simple. Mask and match as close as possible to the original line. Sand down with 400 grit, spray adhesion promotor then hit it with 5 coats of Bumper Trim paint. :)

    Thanks Vince!

Man, I've been wondering the same thing on our black 348 spider with cracks and chips needing attention.
