After seeing a number of pics 348's on here it has become evident that most, if not all of them possess a chrome prancing horse to the front grille. Mine does not and there does not seem to be any mounting holes either. Any ideas?

    Steve,

348 Tb ans Ts hadn't any badge on the front grille.
Only GTB, GTS and spider had those.

The rear emblem was also different, black on tb and ts chrome on gtb gts and spider.

But most owners changed those badge and add a front one.

    Hope i helped you

    Steve,

if you want one fitted, you need to get a 3 " (75mm) horsey with the 2 studs.

Its then a simple case of obtaining a small piece of metal, drill 2 holes and use it to clamp the horse to the front grill.

    Steve -

I needed to make a little mounting bracket myself. I got the horse with two studs, and built a bracket from (gawk!!) aluminum gutter pieces. With a tin-snip, I made a narrow little bracket that could wrap discreetly around one of the grill pieces, and then bolt onto that. It's totally invisible, rust proof, and light-weight. The gutter piece was the kind of thing that would join two gutter sections together -- basically just a flat piece of alumnimum. It cost about 45 cents at Home Cheapo.

Yup, I'll never win an award at the Cavallino Classic, but it looks perfect and was easy to do.

p.s. I'll bet if you look at Jim G's P3/4, you'll see he uses the same technique. ;-)
