I got this new Ferrari front spoiler lip from Ricambi America. Its hardly noticeable but its cool, kind of completes the spoiler. Dont know what if any performance difference it makes, but I like the way it looks. Takes about 30 minutes to install. It goes up under the lip and behind the spoiler. Havent figured out how to post pictures yet.
Below the text box there is a button that says "Manage attachments" Upload the pic and submit the post as normal. Hurry, I want to see it!!! I didn't know ricambi had one. I searched but didn't find it so I ordered another brand.. JL
It is extremely different. He sent me the pics last night, but I was on my laptop at the track. This lip actually mounts about 6 inches behind the front bumper, directly to the belly-pan. It extends straight down to the earth. I would call it an "air dam" more than a lip. Tim -- send them again, and I'll resize and post on Fchat. Or, ferrarioldman might have them too. Originally, I was going to put the spoiler on my car. I hauled it up to Sport Auto where I found Tim and ferrarioldman doing some junk to my engine. Anyway, I'm missing some of the essential mounting stuff on my car, so it wouldn't have fit properly. Tim's a swell fellow, and a heck of a nice guy - so I just gave him the spoiler and the rivets and said "have fun, dude!" From what I can tell, there were very very few made, and almost none left anymore. It is a 1989/1990 non-US spoiler. -Daniel
Definitely not the same thing. I can hardly wait for the Valence lip to arrive. It has only been a week and I can't stand it!!!!
We have one, and are thinking about making reproductions. Ours is NOS so the copies would be good. But, as said before, very different from SS lip. One could use both, for different reasons.
OK guys let's get w/ the program. I've had "Baby" since last October and have bruised her nose 3-4 times. 'Nuff of this stuff. Was looking to do the skid pads. Just what have we here??? Please share.
I'm with Hadley here. Fill us in I want a CF lip, but it would last about one hour! Every driveway in this town to too steep (even when approached at 90°). Most of my scrapes were below view, then last week `BOOM`! What looked to be a 1/4" change from concrete to asphalt was in fact a 7" drop. My spoiler has more fractures than Cali now
Geeees!! Ok...ok....Here is the stock photo (not my car) of the CF lip from Valence that I ordered. I do not have a photo of that other spoiler thing that thay are talking about. JL Image Unavailable, Please Login

What's the price difference. The Valence cf is $650, how much for the Ricambi one? I am too lazy to check
never mind... the air dam is like made out of hard plastic/rubber i think. it's pretty shock resilent. the color is the same as the color on the bumper, matches perfectly. It's formed to fit in place on that under panel so it goes on (no brainer) easy. it also has the pre-set holes for the rivits. the car looks better with it on than off, wonder why Ferrari never designed it that way.
I went with the Hill Eng. skid pads from Ricambi. Really don't add anything cometically, but have saved my front end on several occasions! I don't know if you can see them on this pic, but I did post on another in the past. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm surprised there hasn't been a full urethane factory spoiler replacement yet! Looks stock, except it would be about 2" closer to the ground, and unbreakable. Anyone?
