My gas door doesn't open .... The solemoid works but it isn't strong enough to open the door. In my opinion, I have to check all the connectors.... how can tell me where are all the connectors? Thank you
I doubt its the connections, but you need to remove the left rear wheel and inner skirting to get at the connectors. You do know there's an emergency release too right? If it were me, based on what you describe... I would spray a bit of WD-40 or Teflon based lubricant around the pin, then work it in and out for a bit to see if that helps. Its worth a try before you start dismantling the car!
I have checked the connectors on the solenoid, I used a special contact spray. How many connectors are used between the solenoid, the fuse box and the command switch?
That I am not sure about, but there will be a relay and the switch. But as I said before, I seriously doubt it is the connectors if the solenoid energizes when you push the button. The symptoms you describe indicate a failing solenoid, or a sticking pin. The pin is metal, so I suspect there is some debris or corrosion on it, that is causing it not to pull into the coil smoothly, try some anti-rust lubrication on the pin!
Mine does this too from time to time. Just look into it and start messing around it the visible pieces. As long as the contacts work and the impinger is moving, the most likely issue is inside the fuel door pocket.
Before I put the solenoid back in place, I cleaned it and checked if the movment was free. And I was! It seems that the voltage is too low to move the solenoid strongly!
