    I need a new 348/Mondial Gas Tank Solenoid - part 60868600 (if opens and locks the gas tank)

    Does anyone know any other car part or cross reference that can be used instead of the $500 Ferrari one?

    I cannot find the thread, but there was a thread here that reported that the solenoids used in the F-cars were found as a stock item in a speed shop and in hot rod shows. Sorry I can't be more specific but my opinion is that if you look at solenoid sources, they are relatively easy to find.
