    Texas of course!
Will the metal rings still work if the carbon fiber overlay is on the gauges?

I was gonig to do that, the rings and maybe do the stiching around the pod in red. Have a challenge style wheel that has the red mark at 12'oclock that would match the stitching, and just put on the bling steering wheel stalk caps. What you all think....too much? Forgo the sticting, and/or CF overlay?

I already got the entire unit out the car, cleaned and test tilled the rins wich make a big difference alone.

Sounds like gilding the lily to me. Save the cash for performance upgrades.

will CF overlay and the rings work/fit together. May forgo the stitching. Stock unit is clean.

    I agree.
I'm not a fan of sticking a thin veneer over the existing trim.
My g/f just bought me the shifter panel for my bday. I added the ash tray lid, next up will be the more expensive bigger piece.

Don't settle for the veneers, you'll regret it and end up buying the real thing anyway.

No one makes a replacement part for this, its the only one that is an overlay. Performance parts are nice, but what else is just bolt on, think I have most all of them. Turbo project may be nice :)

mirror triangles and center console parts offer CF replacements, but not around the gauges.

Aha, yes, I thought you meant the gauges on the center console, but now I realize that you meant the cluster gauges.

Yes, I don't know of anyone that makes a replacement for that part either.
